Prime Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that our priority is to provide job opportunities and skills development for the youth of the state. In this series, now through Haryana Kaushal Rojgar Nigam (Haryana Kaushal Rojgar Nigam), in addition to appointing staff to government departments on an outsourcing basis, manpower is now also being made available to the private sector on an as-needed basis. This Haryana government initiative will make it easier for the corporate sector to find workers who meet their needs. The Prime Minister addressed the Business Dialogue organized in Gurugram. The Company Talks program was organized by Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam Limited (HKRNL) to provide private sector employment opportunities to the youth of the state.

The CM praised PM Modi’s vision of Skill India and said that we have advanced the direction shown by the Prime Minister for skills development of the country’s youth in the form of a mission to Haryana. As part of this, Shri Vishwakarma Kaushal Vikas Vishwavidyalaya was established in Dudhola, Palwal and Haryana State Skill Development Authority and chaired by the Chief Secretary. He said that in addition to developing youth skills, several initiatives have been taken towards providing employment opportunities. About eight million youth in the state are registered on the Haryana Skill Employment Corporation Limited portal. The private sector can use this portal to cover its personnel requirements. He said clusters would form in every block under Padma Yojana. As part of this, 14,000 units in the MSME sector will be promoted and three and a half lakh job opportunities will be created.

The business sector will be given the option to select registered youth

The Chief Minister said that Haryana has become the top choice for investors around the world today. Today, due to the policies of the Haryana government and the industrious residents of the state, the state ranks at the top in terms of per capita income among the major states in the country. He shared that through HKRNL, registered youth’s data is shared with the corporate world in categories such as skilled, unskilled, and management, etc. The peculiarity of this data is that the data is available according to the standards set by the industry, such as number, education, experience, etc. At the same time, more than the prescribed number of candidates are made available for the workforce to allow the private sector to conduct interviews and make selections themselves. There will be no government interference in this work. However, institutions such as ESI, PF etc. should be nurtured for the future of the youth. This work will reduce the expenses for recruiting personnel in the enterprises.

The industry is facilitated by the easy fulfillment of staffing needs

Speaking to the company officials, he said that a database of families in Haryana based on income has been created by Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP). There are 13,000 families in this database whose annual income is less than 1,000 rupees and 29,000 families whose income is less than 1,80,000 rupees. It is the government’s priority to enable these families to become self-employed, work in government and in the private sector. He said that due to the availability of manpower through the HKRNL portal, the industry would also make their jobs easier. He also said that the unique PPP program in Haryana is appreciated across the country and many states are also following it.

The corporate world appreciated the prime minister’s initiative

This approach by the Prime Minister was welcomed by the company representatives who attended the talks. Reliance MET, Maruti Suzuki, LML Group, ASSOCHAM, representatives of various industry associations from Faridabad, Gurugram, Rai areas, etc. pledged to meet their staffing needs from HKRNL data. Several representatives also gave the Prime Minister the necessary proposals.
