Yamunanagar: Due to lack of vehicle parking space in Twin City, people are being plagued by traffic jams on a daily basis. City residents have long been demanding the creation of a parking lot to address the congestion problem in the Twin City. However, parking spaces have not been created anywhere in Yamunanagar and Jagadhri so far. In such a situation, people remained worried due to the traffic jam in the city. The residents of the city demanded that the administration provide parking spaces for vehicles in the Twin City.

There was a traffic jam on the city’s railway line due to vehicles parked at an angle in front of the shops in the market. During this time, drivers tried to overtake each other, causing people to get stuck in traffic. After a long time, people have put in a lot of effort to ensure that traffic runs smoothly. Mukesh, Praveen, Rohit, Vijendra and Suresh etc. from the area say that in many places in the city like Main Bazaar and Radaur Marg, Chhoti Line, Patharwala Bazaar of Jagadhri, Uttar Bazaar and Kheda- Bazaar and other places where shopkeepers have closed their shops. There were attacks due to goods being left in front of them. At the same time, customers arriving at the market park their vehicles diagonally outside the yellow stripe on the street. This creates a traffic jam situation.

Parking space must be available

Shop owners Palvindra, Yogesh and Amit say it is very important to create parking spaces in other markets, including the main market in Twin City. While building a parking lot will help eliminate the congestion problem, it will also keep the city clean and tidy.
