Yamunanagar: Thieves stole two lakh rupees from the grocery store in Gumthala village by breaking the shutter. This theft incident was captured by the video surveillance installed in the store. It was discovered that three teenagers broke the shutter of the shop and went inside. During this time, the thieves also attempted to steal by breaking the shutters of four other stores in the neighborhood. After investigating the matter, the police registered a case against unknown thieves and initiated action.

According to the information, Ankit, a resident of Gumthala village, said that he has a grocery shop in the village itself. He built a house above the shop where he can live. Late in the evening he closed the shop and went to his house. When he woke up at 4:30 a.m., he saw that the store’s shutter was broken and the goods inside were scattered. During investigation, cash worth Rs 2 lakh kept in a bag along with a box of anklets and a box of rings were found missing from the shop. When he checked the CCTV installed in the store, three youths were seen breaking the shutter of the store and going inside. They committed theft by breaking down the shop door. During this time, the accused also broke the shutters of Abhishek Kumar, Akit, Sanjeev Kumar and Virendra Bansal’s shops near his shop. After investigating the matter, the police registered a case against unknown thieves and initiated action.
