Jhajjar: The PCPNDT team caught a realtor who was taking pregnant women to Delhi to get the gender of their unborn child tested. This Bahadurgarh-based broker charged pregnant women hefty sums in exchange for a gender test. Due to the health department’s actions, a large gang was arrested.
CMO Dr. Brahmdeep Singh said he received secret information that Kumant Khan, a realtor from Bahadurgarh, often brings pregnant women from the district to Delhi to get the gender of the fetus in her uterus checked. According to the information, the responsible district authority appointed a team consisting of Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Dr. Harshdeep, Dr. Kanupriya, Dr. Ravi Godara and Vinod SA compiled. The team convinces a pregnant woman to act as a decoy and a man to act as her fake husband. After this, a realtor was contacted and a deal was made for a gender test for fifty thousand rupees. The realtor asked her to meet him at Bahadurgarh bus stand on September 16. Afterwards, when the seduction customer reached the bus stand in Bahadurgarh and called, she informed her that she had to go to Jaipur for work and therefore the gender test would be conducted on Sunday. She also gave the phone number of another woman named Kamlesh alias Pinky alias Seema at Najafgarh metro station and said that she will get you checked on Sunday.
When they reached Najafgarh metro station on September 17, a worried Kamlesh received a call. After some time Kamlesh reached there and sat in the car with the Pralobha couple. After that, Kamlesh asked him to go to Mittraun. Another broker named Anil alias Pappu from Mitraun also had to sit in the car that took him to Ashok Clinic in Dharmapura in Najafgarh. Another broker, Dr. Ashok, was also present at the clinic. After this, these three brokers took fifty thousand rupees from the Pradhopan couple for the fixed deal. Afterwards, Kamlesh and Anil stayed in the clinic while Dr. Ashok Pralobhan took the couple to Dwarka in their car. During this time, the PNDT Jhajjar team contacted the PNDT Delhi team and informed them of their location. Both teams then began pursuing the affected vehicle. In Dwarka, the supposed doctor Ashok took him to Saras Ultrasound Center, where Dr. Anuj Mishra conducted the ultrasound scan of the female seductress. After that, she came out and informed that she was pregnant with a girl.
During this time, the already prepared PNDT carried out a raid on the signal of the luring customer and caught the broker and the alleged doctor Ashok. When the records were checked at the ultrasound center and Dr. Anuj Mishra was interrogated, many irregularities were found. After this, the PNDT team reached Ashok Clinic in Najafgarh and caught the realtor Kamlesh sitting there. During his search, Rs 23,500 were recovered while regarding the remaining money, he said that broker Anil had brought it to his village. During the inspection of Ashok Clinic, abortion drugs were found there which were confiscated by the team. After this, the Ashok clinic was sealed with the help of the police there and the team again reached the Saras Ultrasound Center in Dwarka with the realtor Kamlesh. Here Tehsildar Harminder Kaur, Dr. Sameer Pandit and Jhajjar Health Department officials authorized by Dwarka District Magistrate to file a case against Dr. Anuj Mishra, Dalal Ashok, Dalal Kamlesh, Dalal Anil and Dalal Kumant Khan under various sections of the PCPNDT.
