Sonipat: The court convicted three accused in the murder case of a youth in Kundli police station area. The Additional District and Session Court Dr. Sanjeev Arya sentenced all three convicts to life imprisonment. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 each on the perpetrators. If the fine is not paid, the perpetrators must serve an additional penalty. Let us tell you that the perpetrators committed the crime by attacking with a sharp weapon. An attempt was also made to dismember the body.
The body of a young man was found on vacant land near Nangal Kalan.
Nangal Kalan village watchman had found the youth’s body in the vacant land near TDI on June 3, 2020. He was attacked with a sharp weapon and killed. The police then opened a case against an unknown person for murder and dismemberment of the body. In this case, the team of then Kundli Police Station Superintendent Ravindra Kumar took action and arrested Amit, a resident of Manana village Panipat. The accused had said that he committed the crime along with his friend Bholu from Lalheri and one of Bholu’s associates. He didn’t know the deceased. He committed the crime by attacking with a knife and a rod. Later, police took action and arrested the prince of West Ramnagar.
The murder was committed over a petty argument
The accused said that Sahil was his and Bholu’s friend. Two months ago, Sahil had a fight with Bholu. Due to his rivalry, he had called Sahil from home on the night of June 2, 2020, on the pretext of hosting a party. After he was killed near Max Height, Badkhalsa, his body was dumped in a pit near TDI. Police first arrested Amit and then Prince. Later, the accused Rajneesh alias Bholu from Lalheri village was arrested in April 2021. After hearing the case, the court of ASJ Dr. Sanjeev Arya found all three accused guilty. The court sentenced all three to life imprisonment. All three were fined Rs 10,000 each.
