sirsa Three children drowned while bathing in the Ghagghar River, which flows near the village of Harni. The bodies of two children have been recovered, while the bodies of the third child are being searched by divers. Both bodies were taken to Sirsa Civil Hospital.
According to the information, Gurpreet, who lives in District No. 6 of Ellenabad, went bathing in Ghagghar River near Harni today with his brother Jaspreet and another child from Thobariya village. All three went down to the Ghaggar to take a bath. Meanwhile, all three children drowned in the canal. Those working nearby passed this information on to relatives and the police. After receiving the information, the police team and divers arrived at the site and began searching for the children who had drowned in the canal. Divers have recovered the bodies of Jaspreet and Gurpreet while a search is made for the third child.
It is narrated that Gurpreet’s brother used to live in his maternal grandfather’s Thobariya. Gurpreet reached the village of Thobariya on Sunday and, together with Brother Jaspreet and another child, went to the Ghagghar River near Harni to take a bath, where the incident took place.
