Rewari: ASJ Sunita Grover court has ordered to arrest senior officials of HSVP who failed to give response to the court regarding delay in payment of increased compensation for the land after land acquisition. The SP has been directed to enforce the arrest warrants issued by the court against Chief Administrator Panchkula, Gurugram Administrator and Land Acquisition Officer.

A petition is pending in the ASJ court regarding not granting enhanced compensation for the acquired land of Jile Singh and other farmers in Padaiyawas. On behalf of the court, HSVP officials were asked to appear before the court in person and explain why they did not pay the compensation amount. There was also no response to the court’s decisions. While the court issued arrest warrants against senior HSVP officials, the court ordered the SP to assign a DSP-level officer to execute the arrest warrant. If he is not arrested, the officer involved should appear in court on January 16 and explain why the arrest warrant was not executed.

Justice Garg received a payment of Rs 800 Crores

During the hearing of the applications pending before the ASJ Court related to farmers’ compensation, former ASJ Dr. Sushil Kumar Garg issued arrest warrants to top HSV officials twice. He had also taken a tough stance on the HSIIDC issue. Thereafter, both the authorities had to deposit an amount of around Rs 800 crore. Now, ASJ Sunita Grover’s court has also taken a tough stance allowing the officials to deposit the amount before the upcoming date fearing arrest.
