Local residents have also been demanding that the construction of a bridge and an underpass at Bhadawas Railway Gate be completed soon. In this regard, Bagh RWA officials also handed over a memorandum to Union Railway Minister, Union Minister of State Rao Inderjit Singh and Deputy Chief Engineer of North Western Railways. People say that HSRDC has completed 60 percent of its works, but the company to which the Ministry of Railways gave the contract has not started its work till date, due to which people are facing huge difficulties. People from villages and colonies are affected.

Due to the slow progress of construction work on the bridge, people in four nearby colonies and many villages along the route are affected. Due to the suspended work on the bridge, residents of Parshuram Colony, Hans Nagar, New Adarsh ​​​​Nagar and Company Bagh colonies are facing major problems in commuting. Once the ROB work is completed, people in around 30 villages, including the colonies on the other side of the railway gate, and drivers traveling to and from Rajasthan will get a huge relief.

According to the contractor, 4 months of work remain

According to the contractor, excluding railways, there are about four months left for the remaining works. However, given the situation, the ROB work will take more than a year once the railways start the work. If there are delays in the railway work, local people may have to wait a long time for the transfer facility. The cost of building the bridge is more than 60 million rupees. Of this, Rs 37 crore will be borne by the Haryana government while the rest will be spent by the central government through the railways.

People are now taking an alternative route

Due to construction work on the bridge at Bhadavaas Gate, people are facing major inconvenience. People have to travel a longer distance via the alternative route of Rampura and Bithwana. Now that the freight gate is closed, there are only two alternative routes for people crossing the gate and coming into the city. People can go directly from Rampura to Bara Patthar Temple on Bhadawas Road and in the second option, they can reach Bhadawas Road from Bawal Road via Bithwana village. In addition, two-wheelers also pass near the ROB.
