News2News.in News Sonepat. Two youths, residents of Panipat Kachha camp, were called to Gannaur under the pretense of work, where they were subjected to misdeeds after fighting in the fields. The accused also demanded a ransom of two lakh rupees instead of releasing them both. Gannaur Police Station has registered one case against four nominees and one other and is investigating all aspects. The police take the matter seriously.
The victim Tasleem, resident of Kachha Panipat camp, said that he works as a helper near Sarfaraz, resident of Kachha Panipat camp. His job is to deliver chickens. On April 16, Sarfaraz received a call from Ghaffar, who runs a hotel near DICT, saying there was an urgency to discuss the work. Along with Sarfaraz, he passed under the Garhi-Kala-Gannaur Bridge on a bicycle around 3:00 p.m. Ghaffar was found there. Ghaffar left him on his motorbike and left. Sarfaraz walked a short distance on his motorbike. Sakil met a young man on the way. Ghaffar asked Sakil to sit on Sarfaraz’s motorcycle. After that, all four people on two motorbikes went to a hut built in the fields at the behest of Ghaffar. Sarfaraz said Gaffar left the three of us there and went to pick up another person.
After some time, another boy was taken there on a motorbike. They took me and Sarfaraz to the cell and after tying our hands and legs, they started beating us with batons and just wires. Sakil and Ghaffar grabbed my mobile phone and Rs 3530 and the silver necklace from Sarfaraz and Rs 5000. Meanwhile a young man Pravesh also came there. Everyone stripped Sarfaraz of his clothes together. Pravesh soaked a cloth in kerosene, wrapped it around a stick and inserted it into Sarfaraz’s privates. Everyone started kicking and punching me and Sarfaraz. Then came Ghaffar’s brother Sattar. Sarfaraz suffered many injuries due to which he was unconscious. Sattar grabbed Sarfaraz and lifted him up. Everyone else started hitting Sarfaraz with sticks, just wires, kicks and punches.
All of them demanded ransom instead of leaving us and said they would get two lakh rupees from their family members. After a while everyone came out of the cell. He called Sarfaraz’s nephew Riyasat and asked for money. They talked outside, at the same time he saved his life by running away from there. Sarfaraz was taken to Gannaur Government Hospital for treatment by his relatives where doctors referred him to medical college but his relatives took him to a private hospital in Panipat for treatment where he is undergoing treatment. Police started the investigation by registering one case against Ghaffar, Sakil, Pravesh, Satar and another over Tasleem’s complaint.
