Today the festival of Jashn-e-Azadi was celebrated with pomp at the Police Station in Fatehabad, Haryana. In this state-level program, the chief guest of the state, Manohar Lal Khattar, hoisted the flag and accepted the salute of the parade. The prime minister announced a public holiday for August 16 in schools across the state. The Prime Minister addressed the name of the state and spoke about the overall development of the state. He said that today, for the ninth time celebrating Independence Day, he himself was happy to fly the state’s flag.
“Chirayu and Ayushman Yojana expanded in the state”
The premier said that after the formation of the BJP government in the state, efforts were made to change the system and people welcomed it with joy. He said the state has never made such great strides as it has in the past nine years. Today, 5,700 villages in the state have 24-hour electricity and 6,000 villages have internet. He said ration cards have been issued to 12.5 lakh people in Amritkal and the pension is limited to those who are sitting at home. Loans were given to 50,000 people. Today, 28 lakh residents of the state are exploiting Ayushman and Chirayu Yojana. Today, Chirayu and Ayushman Yojana have expanded in the state. Now those whose income is up to 3 lakh rupees can also benefit from it.
“Excellent work in education”
The Prime Minister said that exemplary work had been done in the field of education. Haryana is the only state in the country to simultaneously distribute tablets to 500,000 children studying in state schools. At the same time, he said that Haryana made a special contribution to the country’s independence. Regarding Fatehabad, he said that there were 14 people from Dhangar Village in Fatehabad who were fighting for freedom. At the same time, he said that 10 percent of soldiers in the entire country’s army were from Haryana. At the end of the programme, the Prime Minister addressed the participants and encouraged them. The CM also announced 5 lakh rupees for the school children participating in the scheme.
