Chandigarh. Naunihal from Haryana is once again ready to spread the message of road safety. Due to the concerted and sensible efforts of the police, a quiz competition on road safety will be organized at block level on October 27. The students are preparing to organize this competition with full enthusiasm.
A government spokesperson said that the All Haryana Road Safety Quiz Competition 2023-24 is being organized with an aim to develop the habit of following traffic rules among students from the very beginning. He said that as part of this competition, the police provide books of different levels to the students so that students become aware of traffic rules by reading these books. A questionnaire is then prepared based on the information contained in these books. As students progress through these levels, they receive books at the next level for the competition. Officials and staff are also on site to sensitize students about road safety so that the goal can be achieved.
It is noteworthy that this competition was recently organized at school level on October 13, in which more than 42,000 students participated. Now this competition is organized at block level for the students who got first, second and third place in this competition. The winning participants at the block level then compete at the district level and then at the range level. Students who place first, second and third at the shooting range level will participate in the state level competition. More than 44 lakh students participated in this competition in the year 2016-17 and their names were registered in the Limca Book of World Records.
