There is tension between Congress and Samajwadi Party regarding seat distribution in Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. This tension increased further when former CM Kamal Nath gave the statement ‘Akhilesh-Vakhilesh’. Efforts should have been made to resolve this dispute, but every day some leader or the other is making such statements, due to which there is no possibility of bridging this gap anytime soon.

Samajwadi Party MP Ram Gopal Yadav also gave such a reaction to Kamal Nath’s ‘Akhilesh-Vakhilesh’ statement, which is sure to boil over the Congressmen. Ram Gopal Yadav replied to a question from the media that we have nothing to say on the leaders who make such statements, they are free leaders. However, he also said that Kamal Nath is my friend, I will not say anything to him.

Controlling damage is also uncontrolled

Both Congress and SP are trying to control the damage, but every day some leader makes such a statement, which creates controversy again. UP Congress President Ajay Roy had given a statement on Akhilesh Yadav, after which SP leaders are also openly retaliating. Before Ram Gopal Yadav, Shivpal Yadav had also said while talking to the media in Hardoi that Congress should ban its small leaders from speaking. Big leaders of Congress will have to work together because without the support of SP, Congress will not be able to defeat BJP in UP.
