Panchkula.Responding to the long-standing demand of Barwala residents, Chief Minister Manohar Lal announced that a sewage treatment plant would soon be set up in the village. This will solve the problem of waterlogging in the village and ensure proper water drainage. Manohar Lal also announced that the Barwala community center would be named after Shaheed Rajpal Rana. Manohar Lal addressed the people at the public dialogue program organized at Barwala Community Centre. Assembly Speaker Gyan Chand Gupta and Municipal Corporation Mayor Kulbhushan Goyal were also present on the occasion. Earlier, he paid floral tributes to the statue of Maharana Pratap in Barwala.
Establishing direct communication with the people, the Chief Minister said that the current state government will turn nine on October 26 and a lot of development work has been done at tehsil, block and district levels during this period. He said that an amount of Rs 25 million to 25 million has been approved for construction of roads in each district and construction work of the roads has also started. In addition, this time the survey work on bridges and roads that were damaged by heavy rains was also completed and their repair work began.
He said that in the past, due to lack of accurate population figures, work was done on estimates but we have started a new system called Parivar Pehchan Patra through which the exact population of any village or town can be ascertained. Goes away. Citing an example, he said the population of Barwala village was 11,308 as of September 30. He said that information about people’s birthdays would also be managed through PPP and welcome messages would also be sent through SMS to make the day memorable. He said that today, October 15, is the birthday of 33 people from Barwala. The Prime Minister welcomed them on the occasion and also presented gifts to some of those present.
The chief minister said that the state government has paid a compensation amount of Rs 4.50 crore to the residents of the district whose properties were damaged due to heavy rains and who uploaded the details of the loss on the portal. Those who have not uploaded the claim details on the portal can submit a written request to the Deputy Commissioner.
On the issue of illegal mining, the Prime Minister gave clear instructions that mining deeper than the prescribed limit would not be tolerated under any circumstances. He said the district administration would conduct drone mapping of mining sites every month. He directed the police to take strict action against overloaded tipper trucks. He said that due to overloading of vehicles, roads collapse, accidents increase and the environment is also damaged.
