This shocking revelation came to light in the information sought in RTI by Vikram Singh, resident of Ward 3, Kalayat. On June 29, 2023, a request was made to the municipality to provide some important information about RTI. This included information on the total number of cell towers installed by private companies, NOC granted to the companies, functional equipment of more than one cell phone company on a tower and the tax collected by the municipality from cell tower companies in the city until 2023. The municipality does not have details of the information sought.
