Mahendragarh: A youth jumped into the Jawahar Lal canal near Jhagadoli village on Mahendragarh-Rewari road. Local police and residents had been searching for the body for about two hours. The police are investigating the matter.
According to information received, at around 4 pm on Saturday, a person took off his shoes and jumped into the Jawahar Lal canal near Jhagadoli village on Mahendragarh-Rewari road. A person saw him jump, but since he couldn’t swim, the young man who saw him landed in the canal to save him and informed the police. After receiving information, police reached the spot. While the local police were searching for the youth, they reached NB-2 pump house in Surjanwas, but the youth who jumped into the canal was not found anywhere. The water in the canal was reduced by police to remove the youth’s body. The police are looking for the body.
