IMS Noida: No-plastic campaign organized in Salaam Namaste, Varsha Chhabaria said – trying to add it to the cleanliness campaign

IMS Noida:No-plastic campaign was organized under Swachhta Pakhwada in community radio Salaam Namaste of IMS Noida. In this program organized from 1st to 15th September, people are being made aware through wall painting, canvas painting, Jugaad from junk, radio talk, seminar, workshop and no-plastic campaign. During Saturday’s program, information was also given about My 10 kg Plastic and No Plastic campaign through radio.

Varsha Chhabaria, station head of Salaam Namaste, said that this campaign has been started in collaboration with Community Radio, Noida Authority and Indian Pollution Control Association (IPCA). Under this program, an appeal is being made through community radio to maintain cleanliness in the surrounding houses, localities, sectors and societies. The same radio team is visiting local schools and villages and trying to involve more and more common people and students in the cleanliness watchdog and cleanliness campaign through cleanliness workshops, cleanliness competitions and quizzes.

He said that in the coming time, youth will be linked to the Youth for Cleanliness Campaign to include them in this program. Salaam Namaste will motivate the youth for Clean Noida-Healthy Noida by including them in the Green Ambassador team.
