Kurukshetra: Work done with hard work and dedication always brings success in life. Through hard work, a person can achieve his goal within the given time frame. He just needs the right guidance and the right timing. Deepak Garg, a businessman from Pehowa, did something similar in Shahbad. He brought glory to the country by getting his name entered in the Asian Book of Records in treadmill racing.

Early last year, Deepak Garg’s name was entered in the India Book of Records. He covered a distance of 15 kilometers in the treadmill race by running continuously for 1 hour and 40 minutes without stopping, which is a record in itself. He had earlier showcased his talent before the National Sports Academy organizers in Patiala for the India Book of Records and in Delhi for the Asia Awards. Minister of State Sandeep Singh honored Deepak Garg by presenting him with the Asia Award medal, presenting him with a citation and conveying his best wishes for the future. Pihowa businessman Deepak Garg, whose name entered the Asian Book of Records in treadmill racing, said he worked very hard for this award. He gave credit to his family and said that to break the Asian record, he trained on the treadmill continuously for about 12 years. He also paid full attention to his eating habits.
