Kaithal: Three accused stopped a married girl and her sister while they were returning from her in-laws’ house, molested them and tried to rape them and develop unnatural relations with them. When the girls protested, the accused beat them up and took away their jewelry. Following the victims’ complaint, the police registered a case against three defendants and initiated an investigation.
A girl from a village in the district complained to the police that she came with her sister from her in-laws’ house to her mother’s house around 4 pm on October 14. When she came near the village, Sukhdev Singh, Amrik and their buddy from Dera Govindnagar Azimgarh blocked her way and started harassing her. The accused began violently raping her and establishing unnatural relationships with her. When they protested, the defendant hit both of them. The defendant also stole his gold and silver jewelry. Investigating officer Sudesh said the police have registered a case against the accused and have initiated an investigation. The accused will soon be caught.
