Jhajjar: A young man who went swimming in a pond with his friends to brave the heat died as a result of drowning. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police reached the site and retrieved the body from the water. Police sent the body to the local civilian hospital for an autopsy. The police are investigating the matter

The deceased was identified as Rahul who originally resided in Charkhi Dadri district. The investigating officer in the case, Surendra, said that the late Rahul worked as a transporter in a private company based in Luhari. Due to the excessive heat, he decided to go to the pond with his friends and take a bath, but neither Rahul nor his friends could swim. All of the youth were unaware of the depth of the pond, which is why Rahul somehow went into the depths of the water. Since he couldn’t swim, even his friends couldn’t save him.

When he called the villagers and passers-by for help, it was too late. The police handed over the body to the relatives after the autopsy of the deceased. The investigating officer said Rahul was the youngest of his four siblings. Two of his sisters are married while he and his other brothers were unmarried. The body was handed over to the relatives after the autopsy by the police. Further related measures will be implemented according to the rules.
