Soon the weather will change in Haryana and NCR Delhi as on March 16th a new moderate westerly disturbance will be active over the northern mountain regions and form an induced cyclonic circulation over northern Rajasthan which will overlie the Arabian Sea. southwest and the Bay of Bengal and attracts southeasterly moist winds. Due to the formation of a strong weather system, due to the collision of east and west winds, light to moderate rain and thunderstorms from March 16 to 21 over most of India, as well as the northern plains of the states of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, NCR Delhi, Uttar Pradesh With high wind speeds and thunderstorms there is a chance of hailstorms in one or two places. The clouds are deposited over the entire area. As a result, the Indian Weather Authority has issued a yellow alert for the entire area. The effects of this weather system will be seen in 50-60 percent parts of Haryana and NCR Delhi. Due to the weather change, there will be an increase in temperature in Haryana/NCR Delhi in the next two days, especially in Mahendergarh district. After that, the daytime temperature drops and the night-time temperature rises slightly.

Note for farmers:The harvesting season will peak during this severe weather event from March 17th to 22nd as the western jet stream moves towards southern India, hence farmers are advised to accelerate harvesting of their crops and by the evening of March 16th as much as possible to do . Keep it in a safe place and cover it with a tarp as there is a chance of damage from March 17-22 from light to moderate rain, thunder and lightning and hail in one or two spots and gusty winds.
