Haryana: The chief of police stationed at the post was caught taking a bribe of 2 lakh rupees

Haryana: Following Prime Minister Manohar Lal’s zero-tolerance policy against corruption, the Haryana Anti Corruption Bureau has intensified the campaign against corrupt employees. In this series, the FBI arrested the head constable of Khol police post in Rewari district red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 2 lakh.

Officials from the Anti-Corruption Bureau said anti-corruption measures would continue. Jasbir Singh, chief constable of Baldev Nagar Ambala town, was also arrested in one case for demanding 10,000 rupees to have his name removed from a complaint alleging a false case of selling illegal liquor. Similarly, following a complaint by Suresh Kumar of Satya Nagar, Police Chief Rakesh Kumar of Sadar Hisar Police Station was also arrested for demanding a bribe of Rs 10,000. Legal action will be taken against all of them.
