Haryana: Haryana gets the first prize in the “Reform State” category. Haryana bagged the Gold Award at the TIOL Awards 2023. After Haryana, Maharashtra was awarded the silver award and Odisha, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh received the jury award. The winners will be honored at an awards ceremony on October 4th and 5th in New Delhi.

Awards are presented by the organization in a total of 9 categories. These include categories such as unpaid taxpayers, MSMEs, corporates, tax technology service providers, business journalists and columnists, tax officers, institutional game-changers and reformist state governments, etc. The awards are decided by a jury. The jury includes retired civil servants from various senior positions, including former chief justices, former Supreme Court judges and retired finance ministers.

It is noteworthy that under the leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal, efforts are being made to change and continuously improve the system in the state. Administrative processes in the state are being improved through electronic services. The government has introduced technology to implement and monitor the schemes and made the services online so that the benefits of the schemes reach directly to the beneficiaries.
