Kurukshetra: Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya said that illnesses like cancer can also be cured by praising Krishna-Krishna. For this one has to immerse oneself in the devotional service of Lord Krishna. The well-being of all humanity can only be possible with this devotional juice. Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, MLA Subhash Sudha, ISKCON Kurukshetra President Sakshi Gopal Maharaj released Kurukshetra Tourism.com website as well as Kurukshetra 48 Dham tourism package brochure prepared by ISKCON. He also performed the ceremony of anointing Lord Krishna. The Governor visited ISKCON Temple and offered prayers to Lord Krishna on Janmashtami. He said that Lord Krishna gave the teachings of Geeta in the land of Kurukshetra to break Arjun’s bond. A person who applies these teachings in his life can make his human life successful.
He said that ISKCON followers are spreading Lord Krishna’s message around the world. Because of the efforts of these devotees, most of the devotees in the world join Lord Krishna and chant Krishna-Krishna. When the children sang Krishna-Krishna at the entrance of this temple, there was a pleasant feeling and the mind found peace. It is easy to feel that the efforts of ISKCON followers are bearing fruit and the future generation is immersed in the joy of devotion. Today, all of humanity needs to infuse this essence of devotion into their bodies. By passing on this devotion, world peace will be established and people of the society will be able to free themselves from evils like casteism, untouchability etc. ISKCON followers work in the spirit of service.
