Hansi: The CIA team caught two youths who were betting on the last cricket match between India and Australia in Ahmedabad. The two accused arrested were Shankar, a resident of Krishna Colony, and Gaurav Miglani, a resident of Hisar Chungi. The CIA team seized one LED, six mobile phones and cash worth Rs 50,000 from the two arrested accused. They filed a case against both of them under various sections of the Betting Act and initiated investigations.

In the complaint filed with the police, ASI Sushil Kumar told CIA that he was present at Kali Devi Mandir Chowk to investigate the crime. During this time, information was received from secret sources that two people were betting on the India-Australia cricket match in Ahmedabad at Shankar’s house near Hisar Octroi. According to the information, when the house was raided, Shankar and Gaurav were sitting on the bed in a room above the house and betting after watching the televised cricket match. He said that during the raid, one LED, six mobile phones, a tab, cash worth Rs 50,000 and a notebook were recovered from both the accused. The police are interrogating the two accused in the case in detail.
