Chief Minister Manohar Lal presented a gift to the state’s government employees ahead of Diwali while announcing an increase in honorary allowance (DA) by 4 per cent on the lines of the Centre. Now the DA share of government employees will rise from 42 percent to 46 percent. He also announced to increase the pension of Hindi movement satyagrahis and emergency victims from Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000.
Increasing the honorarium of Asha workers by Rs 2,100
Along with the official announcement of increasing the honorarium of Asha workers by Rs 2,100, the CM also announced an increase in the honorarium of Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Deputy Mayor, District Council, Citizens’ Committee, Panchayat Committee Chairman, of the deputy chairman and the members.
Pension of 3810 trees was started under Pran Vayu Devta Pension Scheme
The Prime Minister today started retiring 3810 trees under the Pran Vayu Devta Pension Scheme. Landowners who have trees older than 75 years on their land will be given an annual pension of Rs 2,750 to ensure proper maintenance of these trees. On June 5, programs will be organized to venerate these trees.
