Fatehabad: A 32-year-old married woman died by hanging under suspicious circumstances near Nehru Park. The woman’s mother accused her daughter’s in-laws of murdering her. When the police arrived on scene, the married woman was taken out of the sling and placed on the bed. As soon as information about the incident arrived, Dr. Joginder Singh, head of the Fatehabad crime scene, arrived at the scene. He closely examined many aspects related to the woman’s body and the noose. In this case, on the complaint of the deceased’s brother Pradum, a resident of Phulan village, the police have registered a case against the deceased’s husband Bunty and an unknown woman for forcing suicide.

In the complaint filed with the police, Pradum said that his sister Jyoti was married to Bunty, a resident of Bhuna. After marriage they had two sons aged 12 and 10. Since his marriage, Bunty beat his sister and panchayats were held several times. He always apologized to the panchayat. She claimed that her brother-in-law Bunty had brought another woman. When his sister protested against this, Bunty slapped her and talked about marrying the said woman, which only upset his sister more. On Sunday, his sister hanged herself by hanging a rope from a fan in the house. As soon as he got information about it, he reached Bhuna with his family and saw his sister’s body lying on the bed. He claimed that his sister committed suicide by hanging herself after being molested by her brother-in-law Bunty and an unknown woman. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation in this matter.
