Faridabad: Anil, posted as Havildar with Gurugram police, committed suicide by shooting himself with a government revolver at Tikavali village under Bhupani police station in the afternoon. The family members immediately informed the Bhupani police about the incident. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and the forensic team was called. After examination, the team got the body kept at the Civil Hospital mortuary. The police are investigating the matter.

According to the information received, Anil, son of retired sanitary inspector Brahm, a resident of Tikavali village, Municipal Corporation, is posted at the post of Havildar in Gurugram district. According to police, Anil committed suicide by shooting himself with a government revolver around 3 pm due to a domestic dispute. Subsequently, the family members immediately informed Mahendra Pathak, SHO of Bhupani police station, about the incident. Thereafter, Mahendra Pathak reached the spot and passed on the above information to senior police officials and the forensic team. The forensic team reached the spot and investigated. Afterwards, the police kept the body in the mortuary of BK Hospital. The postmortem of deceased Anil’s body will be carried out on Sunday.
