Haryana Vidhansabha: Haryana Deputy Premier Dushyant Chautala said that the improvement works on the Panipat-Safidon-Jind road, which include expanding the Panipat-Safidon section to four lanes and widening the Safidon-Jind section by 10 meters, have been approved. For the said works Rs.184.44 crore was received under the CRIF program on March 30, 2023. The government is not currently considering a proposal to make the Safidon-Assandh road four lanes. He was responding to a question put by a member of the House of Representatives on the first day of the monsoon session of the Legislative Assembly.

He informed that the tender for the construction works on the Jind-Safidon-Panipat road would be issued only after the approval of the forest bureau. In such a situation, no deadline can be set at this time. He said the Beri Meham road via Bahalamba village in Rohtak district is expected to be completed by November 10. Likewise, works to improve the road from Bahu-Akbarpur village to Nindana village are expected to be completed by May 30, 2024.

Four railway bridges are built in Hodal.

He informed the Assembly that in the case of the Gorota level crossing on Hodal Road, the revised GAD was submitted to the railways for approval on 12 August 2023. Once approved by the GAD, the DPR is prepared and sent to the government for regulatory approval. In addition, a railway line is being built by the railways across the bridge from Banchari to Dakora and from Mitrol to Dighot. The GAD for the Railway Over Bridge on the Delhi Mathura Road to Village Maroli road was approved by Railways on 27 July 2023. The DPR is currently being prepared and will shortly be forwarded to the government for official approval.
