Haryana Legislative Assembly: Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said during the winter session of the Assembly that a notification was issued on December 7, 2023 to make Julana a sub-division. Administrative officers will be appointed shortly.
He said that Julana has been given sub-division status and now the administrative officer will be appointed soon. A suitable plot of land is being sought for the construction of a mini secretariat building in Julana. In this regard, if the MLA meets the deputy commissioner of his district and submits the proposal to the government regarding availability of land, the construction and other formalities will be completed soon. He said that the scheduled date for completion of construction work on the road from Mauli village to Bhurewala in Kalka constituency is November 24, 2022. However, flooding caused by heavy rains in July/August 2023 left potholes in some parts of the road. These were repaired by the agency and the road is now in good condition.
