Dushyant Chautala said there was a need to take steps to renew the old infrastructure created for sewage and stormwater drainage from the industrial area. He also mentioned the technique used in Latur district of Maharashtra to revive dead wells. He suggested that the state’s experts work towards ensuring that the project, which is being repaired in Faridabad, is implemented throughout the state. Referring to the construction of natural lakes in the country, he said that at least one water conservation pilot project should be conducted in all counties to motivate people by their results.

The deputy premier congratulated the officials on organizing the first type of seminars in the state, saying that given the environmental conditions, water conservation is even more important than roads and electricity for the future. He informed that the state government is working in the field of water treatment and water protection.

Citing the example of the slogan “Jal hi jeevan hai,” he said that due to the lack of proper water management, a water crisis has started and the water has to be delivered to the cities by tanker trucks.
