Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has announced an increase in sugarcane price while giving a Diwali gift to sugarcane producing farmers in the state. Making the announcement, he said that the price of sugarcane for early varieties will be increased from Rs 372 per quintal to Rs 386 per quintal this year.

In addition, the Prime Minister has also announced an increase in sugarcane prices for next year. He said there will be a code of conduct on the days when next year’s sugarcane taxes will be announced. Therefore, after consultation with the ministry, the sugarcane price for next year is fixed at Rs 400 per quintal. The purpose of this decision taken by the government is to ensure that sugarcane farmers receive fair prices for their hard work and dedication. The Prime Minister has encouraged sugarcane farmers by significantly increasing sugarcane prices and promised to continue supporting the government next year.

CM said that the farmer brothers of the state are farming with great hard work and strengthening the economic condition of Haryana by selling their produce in the market. The state government also always makes decisions in the interests of the farmers and we are committed to their well-being. As a result of these efforts, Haryana is the only state where 14 crops are purchased at MSP.
