Rohtak: The body of a father of two was found floating in the pond in Jasia village. The deceased youth had gone to the temple on Holi day and disappeared thereafter. The family members informed the police. The police had opened an investigation into the matter and began searching for the teenager. The youth’s shoes were found near Johar, following which a search was also conducted in Johar but no clue was found. The youth’s body was recovered from Johar on Tuesday. The police are investigating the matter.

The young man had left the house and said he was going to the temple

The deceased’s son Ravi Kumar said that on Holi day his father Manoj Kumar had left the house with Tau Purna in the morning to go to the temple. But after he went to the temple, he did not return. In the afternoon his father and uncle had gone to the fields. When he went to his uncle’s house that afternoon to look for his father, he told him that his father had left some time ago. He then started looking for his father in the village. Meanwhile, Sombir, a resident of the same village, said that a person’s shoes were lying near Johar. When he went to Johar, he saw that the shoes belonged to his father Manoj Kumar. Afterwards, the villagers gathered and went to search for his father.

The police took the body into custody and sent it to the PGI mortuary for an autopsy. The police are investigating the matter and registered a case based on the complaint of the deceased’s son Ravi.
