Bhiwani news:The anti-corruption bureau team in Bhiwani, Haryana has arrested a police sub-inspector working at Sadar police station Bhiwani for bribery. In one case, the sub-inspector had demanded Rs 15,000 in return for reducing the punishment of the victim. On the complaint of the victim’s brother, the ACB team raided the Civil Hospital and arrested him. Vigilance has brought Rajendra to his office. A complaint will be filed against the accused under the Corruption Prevention Act. After the arrest of the sub-inspector, there is a stir in the Bhiwani police department.
According to the information, Inspector Vijay Kumar of the Anti-Corruption Bureau police team said he received information that a police official was demanding money in a particular case. Sub-inspector Rajendra was arrested while accepting a bribe of Rs 15,000. A case has been registered against the complainant’s brother Dharamveer at the police station. He was asked for a bribe by the sub-inspector to reduce the section in the case.
Appealing to the general public, Inspector Vijay Kumar said if any government employee demands a bribe, he can inform his team on toll-free number 1064.
