Karnataka News: A tragic accident took place in Karnataka’s capital Bengaluru on Saturday. Actually, 14 people have died due to a fire in a firecracker shop here, while many people got burnt. After receiving the information, three fire tenders reached the spot and brought the fire under control. There was chaos at the spot after the accident. Now on the accident, CM Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar visited the incident site and announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh each to the families of those killed in the incident. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has expressed condolences on the death of people in the incident.

Crackers worth lakhs of rupees were kept.

According to the police, most of the dead include employees working in firecracker shops, efforts are being made to identify them. Police said that this incident happened around 3.30 pm on Saturday afternoon. At the time of the accident, the work of unloading boxes of firecrackers was going on from a vehicle. During that time this accident happened. It is being told that firecrackers worth lakhs of rupees were kept in the shop. The explosion started after the fire. Due to the fire, the vehicles parked around the shop were also burnt to ashes.

Police engaged in investigation

At the same time, Karnataka DGP Alok Mohane said while talking to the media that 14 people lost their lives in the fire in a firecracker shop. The case is being investigated. He has been told that a total of five people are accused in the case. Two people including the owner have been arrested.
