Ambala: In the greed of selling old coins, a person was cheated of Rs 70 lakh. The victim complained about this to the police. Following a complaint from the victim, the police registered a case of fraud and initiated an investigation.

Satish Kumar Bhardwaj, a resident of Maheshnagar, said he called Ajay Bansal from Delhi after watching the video about selling old coins on YouTube. Ajay asked him for the photo of the coin and mentioned its price. After this, Ajay demanded some money in the name of his PAN card, copy of Aadhar card, photograph and registration. After that, they kept sending money to different accounts in the name of GST, Income Tax and Insurance. I told him that this amount would be refunded. Told him that the vehicle with the money went to Ambala. It was later said that the vehicle had been confiscated by the tax office. He had to pay money for that. From here the train went back to Karnal. Then the police caught him.

Then some kept collecting money by citing deficiencies in their documents. Halfway through he began to say that the vehicle was in the custody of a police officer. By taking the official’s name, he kept depositing money. Whatever price was asked, the price of the coin has now increased significantly. Now they started taking money in place of the increased prices. Regarding the refund of the money, Ajay said that this amount will be deposited into the account. Ajay told him that the police officer had also brought all the money from there. He then deposited another Rs 4.45 lakh. Satish claims he was cheated of Rs 70 lakh by goons.
