DU Admission Under Orphan Quota 2024: Under Orphan Reservation Quota, reservation is given to those students who do not have both their parents. Recently, a decision has been taken by DU to implement this reservation. Now students can also take admission in Delhi University under orphan reservation quota. This facility will be provided to the students from the next academic session i.e. 2024. This reservation will be given to orphan students for both undergraduate and post graduate courses.

How many seats will be available in DU Admission Under Orphan Kota?

This decision has been taken recently by the Executive Council of DU. Let us tell you that this category includes those candidates whose mother and father are not alive, such students will be given admission in DU under reservation. Under the supernumerary quota, two seats in each course will be reserved for such candidates from the year 2024.

Fees for DU Admission Under Orphan Kota

Students who will be admitted under supernumerary quota will not have to pay any fees. Students will not have to pay hostel fees, examination fees and other necessary fees, the entire cost of their studies will be taken from the University Welfare Fund or College Students Welfare Fund.

How will admission be done from DU Admission Under Orphan Quota?

The process of admission under supernumerary quota will be normal i.e. like that of other students. For example, other students get admission in UG and PG courses. For this, candidates will have to appear in CUET UG and PG exam as per the course. Only after they pass this examination will they be able to take admission through this quota.
