Ambala: A child who went to a birthday party at a neighbor’s house broke his arm. The family accused the neighbor of breaking the child’s arm. The child was admitted to the civil hospital with injuries. Now the police have also registered a case and started investigations.

Manjeet Kaur of Humayupur village said that her son Dilpreet Singh went to neighbor Surendra Singh alias Kola’s house on the evening of November 4. Surendra Singh hosted his grandson’s birthday party. During this time, Surendra Singh saw his son Dilpreet Singh eating food at the party. It is alleged that Surendra Singh caught his son and threw him out of the party. Furthermore, he took a stick and attacked his son’s arm. The child came home crying and said that Surendra Singh alias Kola hit him on the arm with a stick. The woman said she went to the accused’s house with her brother-in-law Sukhbir Singh. Here the accused insulted her and said caste-related words.

Threatened with everything. The woman said that she took her son along with her brother-in-law to CHC Chaudmastapur for treatment. From here, after applying a crude bandage to his son’s arm, he was referred to the city civil hospital. Here the doctors plastered his son’s arm and discharged him. Following the woman’s complaint, the Naggal police have registered a case against the accused for assault on a child under the SC/ST Act. Now ASP Deepak has been assigned to investigate the case.
