Ambala: A major fire suddenly broke out in a cotton factory on the Delhi-Chandigarh National Highway. To extinguish the fire, 4 fire engines had to work hard for 7 hours. The fire was brought under control by 12 p.m. The cause of the fire is not yet known. The fire department team is investigating.

According to the information, a fire suddenly broke out at the Pratap factory on the highway in Mohra at 5 pm. Initially, factory workers worked hard to put out the fire. Since the fire could not be brought under control, the fire department was informed. Due to the presence of cotton and yarn in the factory, the fire could not be controlled. Thereafter, two fire engines from Ambala Cantt reached the spot to extinguish the fire. Both vehicles tried to control the fire but when the fire could not be brought under control, one vehicle each had to be called from Ambala town and Barara fire station. Four fire brigade vehicles brought the fire under control at 12 p.m. The reasons for the fire in the Pratap factory warehouse were not disclosed. There was also a fire in the same factory in 2019. At this point, more than 20 fire engines had already brought the fire under control.
