The student said that she was a student at a technical university. In 2021, the defendant had befriended her through her cousin. Both started to like each other. The defendant also took the cell phone SIM on his ID card. He pretended to marry her, but she refused as she was not yet of marriageable age. The defendant told her to marry if she was eligible for marriage. After that, the accused made physical contact with her several times in the Ambala Cantt and Kalpi hotels. Meanwhile, his father became suspicious of his friendship with the defendant. She withdrew from the defendant, but the defendant began blackmailing her with death threats, took her to his aunt’s house, and began engaging in physical relationships against her will. The girl said she also sent a WhatsApp message about her death on her phone, after reading it she became scared and continued to have a relationship with him. Now the accused refused to marry. The police have started a case against the accused and started investigations.
