Mahendragarh.“A complaint was received from the chancellor of Haryana Central University, Pali, at Sadar Mahendragarh police station. The complaint accused Ajay Singh of fraudulently embezzling government funds at Central University while working as a former systems analyst at Central University. Following this, the police conducted a thorough investigation and a case was registered against the accused in various sections of Sadar Mahendragarh police station. The case was handed over to DSP Ranbir Singh by Superintendent of Police Nitish Aggarwal.
DSP Ranbir Singh said that during investigation of the case, facts regarding misappropriation of university funds came to light. Based on facts, accused Ajay was arrested and remanded to police custody for five days after being produced before the court. The investigation so far has revealed that the accused embezzled several hundred rupees by manipulating the university account. The accused is interrogated by the police.
