Raghav Chadha’s name came up in ED’s supplementary charge sheet.

Delhi liquor policy case: Aam Aadmi Party’s difficulties seem to be increasing in the Delhi liquor scam case. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday mentioned the name of AAP MP Raghav Chadha in its second supplementary charge sheet in the Delhi Liquor Policy case. It has been informed by the ED that Manish Sisodia’s former secretary C Arvind has named Raghav Chadha in his statement during interrogation. As per C Aravind’s statement, there was a meeting with Raghav Chadha at the former Deputy Chief Minister’s residence. The meeting was also attended by Punjab Excise Commissioner Varun Roojam, accused in the case Vijay Nair and other officials of the Punjab Excise Directorate. After this charge sheet of ED, there has been a stir in the Aam Aadmi Party.

Explain that Manish Sisodia was named as an accused by the CBI for the first time in the supplementary charge sheet filed before the CBI court in Delhi. A few days after this, the name of Raghav Chadha has also been included in the supplementary charge sheet. In fact, it is alleged that the Delhi government’s excise policy to grant licenses to liquor traders in the year 2021-22 favored some dealers, who allegedly paid bribes for the same. However, this allegation was strongly denied by the Aam Aadmi Party.

In this whole matter, now the statement of AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha himself has come to the fore. Raghav Chadha said that the news articles and reports naming me as an accused in the complaint lodged by the ED are factually incorrect. This is being done to damage my reputation and credibility, he said. Raghav Chadha further stated that I categorically deny the commission of the alleged offense in any manner whatsoever in connection with the said meeting. He also warned the media not to do such wrong news. Also said that all media should clarify this issue, otherwise I will be forced to take legal action.
