Opposition Delegation: Regarding the Manipur violence case, the opposition had sent a delegation of 21 MPs to Manipur to understand the ground situation. The Delegation of Opposition had gone to Manipur for two days. The delegation returned to Delhi from Manipur on Sunday itself. After returning, the MPs also explained the situation in Manipur. Now all the MPs have sought time to meet President Draupadi Murmu.

According to media reports, the delegation of the opposition is going to meet the President under the leadership of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge. The opposition has sought an appointment with the President to raise the issue of Manipur.

There the MPs met Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey and requested him to take some necessary steps to control the violence. The opposition delegation, after returning to Delhi, while talking to the media, explained the situation in Manipur. JDU National President Rajeev Ranjan Singh (JDU MP Rajeev Ranjan Singh) said that both the communities are feeling insecure. The central government or the state government has not taken any concrete steps to control the violence. Governor Anusuiya said that while she is trying hard to restore normalcy, the Governor has limited powers.
