Special Secretary (Vigilance) YVVJ Rajasekhar, who is probing corruption in the beautification of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence, has written a letter to Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar complaining that Kejriwal’s residence is not visible from his room. Several important documents including the beautification case of the CM House have gone missing.

Rajasekhar has claimed that his room was found open at 3 am on Tuesday and all sensitive documents including the beautification of the Chief Minister’s residence were missing. He has said in a letter to the Chief Secretary that it may happen that there has been a breach of confidentiality and evidence has been tampered with.

He has also expressed apprehension that spy equipment may have been installed in his room. According to Rajasekhar, the files that have gone missing from his room include the file related to the liquor scam, the tender file of the Chief Minister’s residence, the file related to the renovation of the residence. Apart from this, Rajasekhar said that the photographs of the people who inspected the Chief Minister’s residence are also missing. Officer Rajasekhar has sent the following details of all the documents missing from the room in a letter to the Chief Secretary. Rajasekhar has also sent a copy of his letter to the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, the Union Home Ministry and the ACB.

Delhi Government’s response to Rajasekhar’s letter to the Chief Secretary

Responding to the letter written by Special Secretary (Vigilance) YVVJ Rajasekhar to the Chief Secretary, the Delhi government said that he is a totally corrupt officer. It is Wankhede of Delhi Vigilance Department. There should be an inquiry into how the LG first deployed him in Vigilance. He was one of the key accused in the CNG kit scam and the CBI recommended disciplinary action against him.

The work was officially withdrawn from him through an order on 13 May. If work has been officially withdrawn from him on Saturday, how come he still has all the files.
