New Delhi: On Monday, on the second day of the degree show campaign launched by Aam Aadmi Party, senior leader Jasmine Shah made her degrees public in front of the country. Earlier on Sunday, senior leader Atishi showed her degree. Showing her degrees at the party headquarters, Jasmine Shah said, “I hold a BTech Mechanical and MTech Mechanical degree from IIT Madras, while a Master of Public Administration degree from Columbia University.” Apart from being proud of my degree, I am also sad that I have only taken a degree in Mechanical Engineering, could not take a degree in Entire Mechanical Engineering.
He said that today there are two models of politics in front of the country. One is AAP’s model of educated politician, in which educated youth are encouraged and the other is BJP’s printing shop model. In the BJP model, if you are unable to read and write, then get your degree printed from a printing press and if someone asks for it, they will be fined.
Jasmine Shah said that my first degree is Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering. I have obtained this degree from IIT Madras. I got this in July 2004. My photograph is also affixed to the degree. My second degree is MTech from IIT Madras. He has obtained this degree in Mass Com of Technology in Mechanical Engineering. It is a five year program at IIT Madras. After this, I have obtained the degree of Master of Public Administration from Columbia University. It is also clearly written on my degree that in which year I obtained this degree. I am showing my degree because I am proud of my degree.
