Three of the arrested accused are minors, for which the police is currently investigating. Police is ascertaining since when this gang was carrying out such incidents. Along with this, other accused related to the gang are also being interrogated.

According to media reports, such an incident had come to light a few years back as well. In 2018, the match was being played between Delhi Daredevils and Kolkata Knight Riders at Ferozeshah Kotla ground in Delhi. At the same time, a gang had carried out such an incident. 400 fake tickets were recovered from the gang.
