Delhi Mayor Dr Shaili Oberoi has made a big claim regarding the mountain of garbage in Delhi. He said today i.e. on Friday that under the leadership of CM Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Municipal Corporation will soon free Delhi from mountains of garbage. The corporation government is working day and night in this direction. On the instructions of CM Arvind Kejriwal, a plan has been prepared to double the garbage disposal capacity. He said that at present one agency is carrying out disposal work on each mountain of garbage. Within two years they have to dispose of 30 lakh tonnes of garbage each. But now a target has been set to double the garbage disposal capacity, so that the mountains of garbage can be disposed of before time. To eliminate the three mountains of garbage in Delhi as soon as possible, CM Arvind Kejriwal himself is monitoring each and every work.

The process of appointing new additional agencies has been started

The mountains of garbage in Delhi will be disposed of rapidly. Delhi Municipal Corporation has started the process of appointing new additional agencies. Tenders have been opened to appoint agencies at Okhla and Ghazipur landfill sites. Additional agencies will soon start working at both the landfill sites. At the same time, tender will be floated for Bhalswa landfill site next month. The additional agency is targeted to begin work at the Bhalswa landfill site by November. With the appointment of a new agency at all three landfill sites, 90 lakh tonnes of additional garbage will be disposed of within two years.

You will be rewarded for disposing of garbage early.

If the agency does the work of garbage disposal quickly, it will also be given a reward. According to the plan, whichever agency disposes of 30 lakh tonnes of garbage before 2 years, it will be given the work of disposal of additional 15 lakh tonnes of garbage. This information has been given to all the agencies, so that the agencies work quickly. Its conditions have also been included in the tender process.
