Delhi: There was an encounter between the Special Cell of Delhi Police and miscreants today in Vasant Kunj, the VVIP area of Delhi. During this time, the police have arrested two sharp shooters of Lawrence Bishnoi Gang. Delhi Police Crime Branch is interrogating both of them. Both the shooters are minors and many cases are already registered against both of them.

Shooters of notorious gangster Goldie Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi gang had fired eight rounds outside the Punjabi Bagh house of former Shiromani Akali Dal MLA Deep Malhotra from Faridkot, Punjab. Deep Malhotra has a big liquor business in Punjab. Lawrence gang had demanded a ransom of crores of rupees from him, but the former MLA had refused to pay. In this case, the Crime Branch of Delhi Police solved the mystery by arresting two shooters within 72 hours. Two pistols, seven cartridges and a stolen bike have been recovered from them.
According to Special Commissioner Crime Branch Ravindra Singh Yadav, Akash alias Kassa, resident of Sonipat, Haryana and Nitesh alias Sinti, resident of Charkhi Dadri have been arrested. Shooter Akash has already been found involved in three criminal cases. On December 3, both of them fled on bike after firing eight rounds outside the main gate of the house of former Shiromani Akali Dal MLA in West Punjabi Bagh.
Crime branch got signal from CCTV
The Crime Branch came to know through CCTV footage and other methods of investigation that the Lawrence Gang had committed the crime. Police identified Akash who fired the shot. After this, DCP Amit Goyal’s team first arrested Akash from Bhatgaon, Sonipat. After interrogation, the second shooter Nitish was also arrested from Charkhi Dadri. The bike recovered from both of them was stolen from Palam village a few years ago. Shooter Akash was lodged in a Haryana jail in an attempt to murder case. Where he met members of the Goldie Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi gang. After which he also joined the gang.
