Delhi: Manish Sisodia will remain in jail, judicial custody extended till May 1 in both CBI and ED cases related to excise policy

Delhi Liquor Policy: Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has extended the judicial custody of Manish Sisodia in the Excise case. The court of Special Judge MK Nagpal of Rouse Avenue Court has extended Manish Sisodia’s judicial custody till May 1 in both CBI and ED cases related to excise policy.

After completion of the judicial custody of former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, he was produced in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court, from where he has been sent to judicial custody once again. The court has sent him to judicial custody till May 1 in both the CBI and ED cases related to excise policy. Earlier, the court had extended Sisodia’s judicial custody till April 17. For this, Sisodia was produced in the court on 3 April. Explain that CBI and ED have arrested Manish Sisodia on February 26 in the alleged liquor scam case.

At the same time, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was also questioned by the CBI in this matter on Sunday i.e. 16 April. In this case, CBI had interrogated CM Kejriwal for about nine hours. After the CBI inquiry, CM Arvind Kejriwal said that the probe agency does not have any evidence against the Aam Aadmi Party government. Along with this, he said that the investigating agency asked everything, including why we started the policy and how we did it. CM further said that he asked me about 56 questions from 2020 till the end.

Let us tell you that along with Manish Sisodia, the judicial custody of other accused Arun Ramchandra Pillai and Amandeep Dhall has also been extended. Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has extended the judicial custody of Arun Pillai and Amandeep Dhall till April 29 in the case registered by the ED.
