Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will appear before the CBI today in the alleged excise scam case of Delhi. During this Kejriwal will go with his cabinet and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann. Along with this, apart from all these, your MPs, MLAs and corporators are also going to go to the CBI headquarters. Aam Aadmi Party workers have planned to protest against the CBI summons to Kejriwal. In view of the plan of this demonstration, tight security arrangements have been made outside the CBI headquarters. To stop these workers, the police have also put up barricades outside the CBI headquarters, so that the Aam Aadmi Party workers do not create any problem in the CBI inquiry.

Kejriwal had made allegations in a press conference

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had told a press conference on Saturday that he would appear before the CBI. Along with this he had said that if he is corrupt, then no one in the world is honest. In this conference, he said that the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders were demanding his arrest and if the BJP had ordered the CBI to arrest him, it could not refuse to do so.

During this press conference, Arvind Kejriwal said that people are being pressurized to name Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia by torturing and threatening them. We will file cases against the investigating agencies for creating and presenting false evidence against the CBI.

The investigating agency has already arrested the former Deputy CM of Delhi in the alleged Excise Policy case. During this, it has been alleged that some irregularities were done by the Delhi Government for giving licenses to liquor traders for 2021-22 and licenses were given only to some close ones. Delhi’s excise policy was withdrawn after this allegation surfaced.
