Delhi Excise Policy Case: Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh was produced in Rouse Avenue Court on Monday after his judicial custody in the Delhi Excise Policy case ended. During this time, the court has extended the judicial custody of Sanjay Singh till December 11. ED has filed an application in the court demanding that the charge sheet be kept in a sealed cover, so that the identity of the witnesses cannot be revealed. ED has sought permission to use pseudonyms of witnesses in their place to ensure protection of their identities. At the same time, AAP leader Sanjay Singh alleged in the court that information related to the charge sheet is being leaked to the media by ED.
The AAP leader made serious allegations against the ED in the charge court and said that the ED is sharing information related to the charge sheet with the media. Sanjay Singh said that before this charge sheet was filed in the court, all the information had been revealed in the media. His lawyer said that the media has all the information. Let us tell you that Sanjay Singh was arrested by ED on October 4, 2023 after a long interrogation. After this, the court sent him to judicial custody on 13 October. That’s why Sanjay Singh is lodged in Tihar Jail of Delhi.
